The Glenfernate estate reaches high up into the mountains from Strathardle. There was a butchers processing the lamb, beef and venison found on the estate. The meat was sent all over Britain, but unfortunately the butchers closed in the early 2000’s. In 1993 there was a RAF Hercules crash at Loch Loch.
