The Life of Patrick & Amelia Small Keir (1810-1889)From: Small Keir of Kindrogan Collection
Patrick Small Keir(1810-1889) was the only son of Patrick (1781-1860) and Jane (nee Stewart) (1770-1862).
His father as well as owing Kindrogan inherited the Kinmonth Estate & title from his mother’s. (Margaret Small) brother Patrick Keir in 1810. He then took the surname of Keir along with the title of the estate.
Amelia Small Keir (1810-1894) was the second daughter of Sir Neil Menzies 6th Baronet of Menzies (1780-1844)
Patrick married Amelia Frances Balfour Menzies in April 1836 and had three children.

Patrick ran the Kindrogan & Kinmoth Estates after his fathers death.
