Finegand

Finegand has a long history in Glenshee, and is mentioned many times in the history section of “the written word”. The archive also has several pages of the book “Glenshee Glen of Fairies”.

Finegand was known in the late 1900’s as the Glenshee Fire Station (the fire engine was kept in one of the big barns) and home to Rudi the deer – coaches often stopped in the lay-by next toFfinegand for a glimpse of Rudi.
