Fiction Fable Poetry and Song

There are several authors living in Strathardle - from the published to unpublished. 2 published authors are Alexandra Raife, published by Hodder and Stoughton, who usesĀ the Mount Blair area and its people asĀ inspiration for her novels; the other is Elaine Mutch who writes amusing poetry about the glens and its scenery, her books are usually available in Kirkmichael Village Shop and local events. Elaine usually contributes a poem to the local newsletter "Across the Glens".
