This postcard, posted in 1904, shows patients ‘taking the air’ in the garden as part of their treatment for Tuberculosis. A pony and trap can be seen at the front of the building, with the stable on the side. When it opened Cnock Sualtach Sanatorium charged a whopping 4 Guinnies per week for board and lodging, excluding stimulants.
