David Brown's Memories

David Brown was born and brought up in Dundee before moving to Blackcraig in 1956 to work with the Forestry Commission.  He has remained in the Mount Blair area ever since.

He has a keen interest in history and was an active member in the Blairgowrie Historical Society.

Interview took place on Saturday 3rd August 2013 at the interviewee’s house, Glenshee.

Interviewer was Richard Stratton.

David was born and brought up in Dundee, and moved to the Mount Blair area after he was diagnosed with epilepsy as a young man. Here he talks a little about his employment in Dundee, before he moved to Blackcraig to work for the Forestry Commission.
