Ivy Bailey's Memories

Ivy Bailey opened the Blackwater Inn in 1985 at Blackwater, Glenshee.  She handed over control of the Blackwater Inn in 1998 and it closed in 2000.

In these sound recordings, Ivy talks about the hectic but very exciting opening weekend when they were overwhelmed by customers, the various entertainment that was on offer, and gives her opinion on what she thinks has changed about life in the glen over the last three decades.
